K Cabin, Kintamani, Bali

Three cabins redefine luxury living on a steep 5,000-square-metre site, overlooking the dramatic landscape of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Conceived as contemporary retreats within Kintamani’s volcanic terrain, the project explores a refined interpretation of tropical hospitality through compact, carefully framed spaces.

MH, California

MH House is conceived as a contemporary desert retreat that embraces the open-living concept, dissolving the boundary between architecture and landscape. Set within the vast terrain of Joshua Tree, California, the project is defined by its seamless connection to the surrounding horizon and the quiet intensity of the desert environment.

Sake Brewery Ubud, Bali

Set within the rice fields of Ubud, Bali, the Sake Brewery is conceived as a linear retreat that merges production, craftsmanship, and landscape. The project occupies a narrow 10-metre-wide and 60-metre-long volume, responding to its elongated footprint through a sequence of spaces that unfold gradually along the site.

A restrained palette of locally sourced timber, exposed concrete, and wood tile detailing anchors the architecture in both material authenticity and tropical durability. Sustainability is embedded in the design approach, where structure and atmosphere work together to create a calm environment for both brewing and visiting.

Beyond its industrial function, the brewery invites guests to witness the sake-making process as part of an immersive spatial experience. Framed views, tactile surfaces, and the constant presence of the surrounding rice fields blur the boundary between interior craft and exterior nature, positioning the brewery as a contemporary interpretation of tradition in the heart of Ubud.

LRG, Bali

La Reggia Residence in Munggu, Bali, is conceived as a seamless dialogue between contemporary tropical living and the surrounding landscape. Set within a 1000 sqm compound, the project comprises four villas arranged around a shared axis of circulation and greenery.

Casaloka Cendani, Bali

Casaloka Cendani is a compact house-villa situated on a 136-square-metre plot in Bali. Unlike the island’s archetypal resorts that rely on expansive gardens and sprawling layouts, the project embraces spatial constraints to reinterpret the tropical holiday home in a denser, urban setting.

Since establishing IRIN in 2023, Nizar has led projects across Bali, the Philippines, Koh Samui, the Bahamas, and Greece.
